Ever watch the movie Love Actually?  It might not be super-manly to admit that I like a rom-com, but I do like that one for a number of reasons. There are a number of reasons.  The juxtaposition of the couple who are stand-in actors for the porn that then fall in love is truly unique and fun.  The foul-mouthed female assistant for the prime minister, however, is my favorite.  Why?  Its got to be the accent!  Seriously!  Yes, she’s got a great look to her.  But that accent, with the naughty words flying out of her mouth?  That’s just damn sexy!

I think that the guy in the movie who claims that, because of his accent, if he comes to America he could pick up women no matter how ugly he is, is spot on.  An accent can make someone more interesting and intriguing, makes them somehow sexier.  Proof?  There’s an Aussie that does grocery store commercials in my area and the women in the office just fall over themselves for him.  He’s not particularly handsome, but that accent sells him.
