Just finished reading Sex at Dawn.  I really did find it to be a good read about the evolutionary notion of sex.  It’s a good read though it reads like amateur comedy hour at times taking away from some of the very legitimate information in it.

Update: 10/23/2011: One of the thoughts I’ve been having about Sex at Dawn is how the world would be different if Darwin had not written during a time of extreme sexual conservatism.  What if human nature had not been defined as a warring animal but a sexual one, as the book argues?  Thinking evolution, humans are closer to the lover bonobos than the warring chimpanzees.  No doubt if we would embrace our evolutionary nature as closer to bonobos, we might very well have a deeper understanding of the sexual part of human nature.
